Expect to see the muscle boys, the mimes , the musicians, the jugglers, the jesters, a true microcosm of LA shall I say, the colorful, the unique, the absurd and everything in-between there is to find.
I can only imagine how festive it might be during summer, but on late autumn days, the 2.5km Venice Beach boardwalk is more laid back, more quieter.
Though with less street performers, the boardwalk still an interesting to stroll for people watching and to see the line of shops selling skateboards, henna tattoo, T-shirts. Now I know what a Green Doctor is.
But the real reason why I wanted to go to Los Angeles is to see the iconic view of Ferris Wheel at the Pacific Park of Santa Monica Pier.
I don’t know how to explain it, maybe because of Forrest Gump, but for some reason when someone mentioned LA to me, it is not the stars, the boulevard or the Hollywood sign that crosses my mind, it is the image of the Ferris wheel at Santa Monica Pier.
Though can get easily crowded, the ambiance at Santa Monica Pier is always festive and friendly. It is easy to lose time just by simply walking around and enjoying the view of the ocean and the many colorful rides at the Pacific Park amusement park.
