Magical Prague At Night, Czech Republic

The bridge, the castle, the spires, the tower, the walls and just the ordinary cobble stone block, it plays with your imagination and it has the ability to convince you that once there was magic that rules the city of Prague.

Though night time in Prague is often spent getting acquainted with the world famous Czech beer, but if you are like me where a pint of beer is more than enough to change my skin color to full red, then I would suggest to best spent those nights doing a “repeat”- see everything all over-again, for to see Prague in daytime is a magnificent experience but to be envelope by its unparalleled beauty at night is something else.

Start at Vltava River for at dusk it is serenity, offering a solitude for anyone who simply wanted to stare at the distance and contemplate about the events of the day.

Just when everyone is heading home and the fog is about to erase the spires of St. Vitus Cathedral from the city skyline, walk back to the castle and experience the complex when it is nearly deserted and be dwarf once again by the magnificent cathedral.

Then there is Charles Bridge never failing to inspire and at night the shadow of the statues plus the people walking along created an ambiance of mystery.

But everything starts and ends at the Old Town and the Prague Astronomical clock, still the most festive and crowded area of all.

Walk around the perimeter of the Old Town for the mandatory hot wine and Czech sausage combination, find a bench and just let the night pass by.

Maybe if someone will tell me that at night high above the castle the gargoyles comes alive and that there are angels and demons lurking in Charles Bridge, maybe I would be convince for Prague under the moonlight is just the perfect mystery novel location.
