Ferry to Macau

If you are already in Hongkong, there is no other reason not to do a quick sidetrip to Macau, which is accessible via ferry. You don’t need more than 1 day to explore the place unless you are a casino lover, then you might be encourage to stay longer.

I feel something weird about Macau – for me it is just a place built to serve as a playground for the rich. There are endless casinos which sadly over shadow its history and its people.

Most tours had dedicated longer time on exploring different casinos, prompting me to escape from the tour and head back to Hongkong early.

Best thing to do in Macau (if you are not a gambler) are:  a) photo opt at Sao Paolo Cathedral  b)check the portuguese influence in the city architecture  c) bungee jump at Macau Tower (if you dare)  d) eat some egg tart  e) check out the Museum
